Audi Dent Repair in Dubai: The PDR Approach

Audi builds its vehicles with multi-layer paint systems developed at Ingolstadt. The base coat, colour coat, and clearcoat are applied in sequence with tight adhesion specifications. A repair that disrupts the clearcoat — through sanding before a panel respray — breaks the original layering and introduces a colour and texture difference that is visible under certain light conditions even after professional blending.

Paintless dent removal avoids this. PDR works from the inside of the panel, using precision rods and tools to massage the metal back to profile without touching the paint surface. The result is the factory finish intact, with no evidence of repair visible under any light condition.

At DentGuy in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, Audi PDR starts at AED 350 for minor dings on standard steel panels. The A4, A6, and Q5 use predominantly high-strength steel construction. The Q7 and Q8 use some aluminium sections. RS models vary by generation; the RS6 Avant uses aluminium for the bonnet and front wings.

Where the paint is already cracked or the dent is a sharp crease that cannot be massaged out, conventional panel repair starts at AED 500 with full OEM colour matching.

PDR Pricing on Audi Models

Audi's lineup covers a wide range of panel complexity. Here is how PDR pricing breaks down by model group.

A-Class sedans (A3, A4, A6, A7, A8): AED 350 to AED 550. Steel construction on the main body. Door dings on the A4 or A6 are among the most common repairs we see, typically from Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates car parks where tight spaces are routine. A standard A4 door ding is AED 350 to AED 450.

Q-Series SUVs (Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8): AED 350 to AED 600. The Q3 and Q5 are steel throughout. The Q7 and Q8 have aluminium sections. Most damage is on the rear doors and rear quarter panels from parking contact. Q5 rear door dents run AED 350 to AED 500.

RS and S models: AED 400 to AED 650. RS models use more aluminium and have tighter panel tolerances. The RS6 bonnet is aluminium. The RS4 and RS3 bodies are largely steel. For RS models, we confirm the exact panel material before quoting.

E-tron (Q8 e-tron, A6 e-tron): AED 400 to AED 600. Aluminium-intensive construction. Same approach as standard aluminium panels but with additional care around battery access panels.

Does Audi Fix Dents? What the Audi Service Centre Charges

Audi Abu Dhabi Motors and the authorised service network provide bodywork repair at labour rates that reflect their facility overhead and warranty infrastructure. A single door ding repair at an Audi authorised workshop in Dubai runs AED 700 to AED 1,500 for PDR equivalent work. Conventional respray on a door panel runs AED 1,200 to AED 2,500.

The technical outcome is the same as a skilled independent specialist. The price difference is the overhead: front-of-house staff, warranty administration, Audi-branded tooling at dealership prices, and facility costs on Sheikh Zayed Road or Business Bay. None of those elements change what a dent looks like after PDR.

For lease returns, Audi Financial Services UAE charges excess wear at the time of vehicle return. A dent outside the standard wear threshold triggers a dealer-assessed repair charge. That charge is applied at authorised labour rates, typically AED 900 to AED 2,000 per panel. A PDR repair before the return, at AED 350 to AED 550, eliminates the excess wear charge.

Audi's mechanical warranty covers manufacturing defects. Independent PDR on cosmetic bodywork does not interact with Audi's mechanical warranty or service history. If you are on an Audi service contract, the bodywork repair is outside the contract scope regardless of who performs it.

When PDR Is Not the Right Repair for an Audi

PDR requires intact paint at the dent. If the paint is chipped, cracked, or has a white stress mark at the impact centre, the repair requires conventional bodywork. For Audi, the specific colours that create colour-matching challenges are Quantum Grey, Florett Silver (a very light silver with fine metallic), and the special-order Goodwood Green or Daytona Grey. These colours require precise OEM code matching and blending into adjacent panels.

We use Audi's OEM colour codes for all conventional repairs. Blending is standard practice: we never cut-off colour on a panel line when adjacent panel weathering would produce a visible difference.

Send three WhatsApp photos to determine whether your Audi damage qualifies for PDR: one of the full panel, one low-angle raking-light shot, one direct-light paint surface photo. We return a fixed price within 30 minutes (Monday to Saturday, 8AM to 6PM).

See /scratch-repair for information on Audi paint scratch repair and the colour-matching process.

Getting an Audi Dent Repair Quote in Dubai

The process is straightforward. WhatsApp three photos to wa.me/971523151530:

One photo of the full panel from standing height, showing the dent location in context.

One close-up photo taken at low angle with your phone light or sunlight raking across the dent. This reveals depth and any paint stress.

One photo in direct light showing the paint surface, particularly around the impact centre.

We return a fixed price within 30 minutes. That price does not change on arrival unless the photos showed something not visible before the visit, which is uncommon with well-taken photos.

The workshop is in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3. Monday to Saturday, 8AM to 6PM. Most single-panel PDR jobs on an Audi are complete in two to three hours. See /paintless-dent-removal for the full process and what to expect on the day.
